We play our best when we're just flying around. We're an aggressive team by nature, and it's sort of a high-risk high-reward kind of a game sometimes. And with us, we're playing better when we're buzzing. I absolutely would expect that, and it seems like every elimination game we really figure out, this is it, so we show up.

and i guess my concern would be that at some point, when you keep needing to roll the 7, you don’t. hopefully we will.

same thought here. I thought after winning 3 in a row against the Rangers, these guys would have figured it out and know how hard it was and that they should not let it get that far out of reach. Oh well, maybe this is just how the Caps roll and how they like to play.

We shall find out tonight.

I remember last year I commented during a Caps-Flyers playoff game: “Hey look, they’re playing Caps-style hockey!”

Someone responded: “So, is that good or bad?”

Let’s play the Good Caps-style flying around hockey tonight, not the bad one.
