my thoughts exactly, although the boards (for both teams) are getting a little crowded….lotta smack running this series, which is frickin’ awesome, imo. Nothing like a little professional dander to get up with a Game 7

Love that he said this. Not like we need any more motivation, but it can’t hurt.

Anyone else love that we’re becoming a really hated team, at least in NY? I’d rather not be hated for the Brashear incident, but you haven’t really made it yet until New Yorkers loathe you.

I fully endorse JP’s sentiment on this one. I certainly don’t love the Brashear thing, but I do love that the Caps are getting harder to play against. Winning games 5 and 6 like the Caps did combined with the rough stuff can be pretty demoralizing for a team like the Rags (who are pretty soft overall). You have to be able to wear a team down with the body and I think the Caps have done a very good job of that this series.
