TSN vs CSN
The high def feed, the camera angels, everything seems so much better on TSN. Anyone know if you can opt for/pay for the TSN or CI feed if you are local or is CSN the only choice regardless?

Why is there such a difference between networks. I thought all the networks used the same camera feeds and that the arenas all provided the TV set up. Does each network actually have to bring in their own camera crews? That would be annoying.
I don’t know but there is- a huge difference. The NHL On The Fly highlights had several more camera angles of Semin’s goal off the faceoff and the hi-def feed is so much crisper. I’d pay for the different feed if there were a way to get it without being blocked.
If it ain't broke, don't break it.
Welcome to America, where you usually can’t get what you want, even when it’s better and even if you want to pay for it! Isn’t that the FCC motto?
CSN is regional and you are rarely if ever are going to get the production value/feed quality that matches a national network. For me, when I see a game on Versus it is clearly better (picture) than CSN, and NBC-HD is the clearest of all (unfortunately ruined by Mike Emrick).
Throw in the fact that certain carriers will do more compression on certain channels…UGH!
Move to Canada?
