Free Beer!
I figured that might grab your attention. Anyway, here's the deal - click this link, follow the directions, show up at Rhino Bar in Georgetown to watch the game tomrrow night and the first round's on us. You guys like beer. You guys like hockey. Sometimes you guys even like each other. You'll definitely like this. - The Rink

Hmmm.
I’m pondering what to do. On the one hand, I love free beer, and I love the Caps.
On the other hand, I’m worried about “changing the luck” after watching the last game at home.
Suggestions?
The wife and I will be coming. You should come, we can fight to the death over Flash and Fehr’s ice time!
Great Idea
Free beer at my house for all Caps fans in Massachusetts! Looks like I’ll be drinking alone again…
I could come with my son, but he’s only 18…months. And his bedtime is 7:30.
You anywhere near Framingham?
No free beer
But I’ll be watching from Looney’s South with a group of ten or so
never let the truth get in the way of a good story
Hmm
Can I take a rain check until the possible night of Game 7?
I have a blog too! www.scottyhockey.com
Let's Go Rangers!
I think Rangers fans that show up have to buy the second round

Damn this country and its stupid nonsensical laws. I’m an adult, yet cannot drink, how is that constitutional?
He’s either 18, 19, or 20.
I'm so sick and tired of the refs explaining the calls like this is the NFL.
You would think that the old men who made the silly laws would want 18 year old girls to be able to drink ….

It’s the internet. Everyone’s a he until proven otherwise. Also, doesn’t tear me up. Most hardcore hockey fans – male.

On the internet, nobody knows you’re a dog.

Whoaaaaaa
I finally say that I think Aucoin should play instead of Nyls and Brash, and I’m still Nyls lover? Gooooooood looooord.
Also, admit it, most people assume everyone else on the internet is male. I’m not really that out of line, nor “not calm”.

Hey, if I had a car and/or didn’t live an hour and a half out of town, I’d be there.

I’ll actually be online – I can’t make the event (and am very much under the weather).

You guys don’t need me to have a hell of a time.
We’ll have some sort of off-season shindig, though, where you all can come by and kiss the ring. :)

My actual fortune cookie from dinner tonight

Good thing I don’t play hockey anymore and that the Icebats no longer exist. That kinda narrows it down.
If there’s one thing we all know Chinese magic is good at, it’s predicting NHL success…

Yup, I’ve been following Gobbler Country for a while before they made a switch. Good move on SBN’s part.

It all came together rather last minute and I can’t be there. And it’s not my party – it’s everyone’s free beer party! :)

Not me, but only because the Caps tend to suck when I participate in open threads. Obviously, my behavior determines the outcome of games.
