If the Caps need inspiration, they can look to their farm team
"One week ago at this time, things were looking bleak for the South Carolina Stingrays. After procuring nine wins in their final ten regular season contests, including four straight against their first round opponent, the Rays found themselves down two games to none in their best of seven series with the Charlotte Checkers.
Fast forward to today, and South Carolina is prepping for a much-anticipated South Division Finals showdown with the Florida Everblades, winners of this year’s Brabham Cup as the regular season point champion in the ECHL. That’s because SC reeled off four consecutive victories, including their first road playoff win in four years, to dispatch the Checkers in six contests and advance to the second round."
