So did Jeff Schultz hurt his clumsy ass when he was schooled by Dubinsky? I dont mean to sound like I hate Schultz, but I am still pissed about that.
Good thing you clarified that you don’t mean to sound like you hate Schultz, lest one misconstrue your feelings in your question about "his clumsy ass."

I really hope that turd-nugget Crosby loses tonight! Don’t get me wrong, I love the guy, but I still think he’s an ass hat! :)

I’m more sad than anything personally. I consider myself a supporter of the Capitals and when things don’t go their way (unless it’s from lack of effort) I root for them to do better. To get angry makes me feel like I’m expecting them to go out and perform and win for me so that I can feel good, which isn’t really fair (or healthy). Plus, where’s the fun in sports and rooting on a team if they’re going to upset you?
I dunno, ask a Detroit Lions fan.
I'm so sick and tired of the refs explaining the calls like this is the NFL.

If it makes you feel better, just root against the Pens.

It doesn’t feel bad per se since I respect the vast majority of the Flyers team, just….odd…
Full disclosure – I have an autographed John Leclair Flyers jersey somewhere (it was given to me), maybe it’s seeping into my brain.
You didn’t disclose that information on your Japers’ Rink application. This is grounds for immediate termination. The council shall consider…

To be fair now, it was bid on at a charity auction by an aunt who lives in Philadelphia who’s kid didn’t want it and so gave it to me. I’m just a patsy!
No score for the Penguins. Eaton’s in the box—er— I mean, Hartnell scores on the PP for the Flyers. 1-0. That was fast. Didn’t have time to type it!
How’d Hartnell get away with that stick throw?

It was too obvious. I’m starting to think there may be something to this whole “if you constantly cross the line the refs will be less likely to call something” conspiracy theory. Someone mentioned it re: Avery and it seems true for PHI too. They lead the league in PIM but every time I watch them it seems like they get away with a ton of crap too.
Hell of a save by Fleury/choke by Carter.

Terrible PIM by Knuble. What a douche. I wouldn’t mind seeing that cost them the game except that it makes this a much shorter series.
Guerin would look so much better in red than black right about now…

Comment on the Pitt-Philthy playoff game. The Flyers basically lost it because they played too filthy for their own good. It’s next to impossible to skate off situations when 2 men down for more than a minute. They got a second guy in the box when there was still 1:30 to go in the first penalty.
So now Philthy is down 2-0 in playoff games. I was rooting for a 7 game hard fought series. (I was rooting for Philthy in this game towards that end.) Or is this living proof that I probably hate the Pens worse than Philthy?
@Fehr and Balanced
It is funny to see Philthy down by 2 but I want them to start winning some games in that series to make it more interesting (and to take more out of the winner.)
That being said, I am no fan of Pitt. Their guys make me feel like I’m reliving my daughter’s middle school years (and all the rivalries and smack talking; etc.)
