The Saskatoon Blades celebrated their regular-season achievements during Sunday’s awards banquet at Dakota Dunes.

Did you ever see Dakota Dunes’ movie? That chick is hot.

"Good crowd out there tonight, boys, let's really try to win this one."

Heh. Definitely an adult film name.

My only beef with that top 20 playoff goals list (other than Hunter’s omission) is Desjardins’ goal against LA in the 93 finals. I can still hear Bob Cole’s voice in my head…

DEJSARDAANNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Cole because he gets excited without being douchey (see Jeanerret, Rick).

Speaking of him, “May Day” should probably be on this list too…

That Fleury celebration brought back some memories. So did the LaFontaine/Nedved goals, but not in a good way.

Cole’s call on the TYING goal in that game from Desjardins was great too. I love his random inflections on words

“They HAVE……tied it!!!!!!!!”

Bob Cole = awesome

Hunter should be on that list. He’s the only player to score two OT winners in ultimate series games, scoring for Quebec in 1982 in OT in game 5 (Opening round was best of 5 back then) and of course in 1988 here in Washington. No one else has ever done that…

Re Hart: I don’t think it’s a done deal and in fact I see it slipping away a little. The Conn Smythe would be better anyway.

You may recall that after signing with the Caps this summer but before reporting to training camp in September, BMo took a trip to the Canadian wilderness for charity.

Despite the "mosquitos as big as seagulls", the participants all survived and emerged from the woods to a tasty homestyle Hornpayne feast.

And now, we have video.

There's a lot more Brad May and Kris King than #9 in this clip, but we get a little flavor of how the Caps' second line center spent his summer vacation.
Just wanted to share a shot of the action on Sunday night, including Shaone Morrisonn vs. Jason Chimera on the left.
