So since the home team tonight is broadcast on a Comcast affiliate, is there any chance we get real HD tonight, or are we gonna have to suffer through faux-HD?

does anyone out there know a link for the game online tonight? Being a caps fan in Detroit SUCKS!
Do you really need to ask this question twice in the first four comments of the night?
And being anything in Detroit sucks.

We are due for (pick 2 of the following)from our boys
1) A laugher – game over 1st period
2) GWG from 3rd or 4th line
3) A Semin shortie
4) multi-goal game from anyone not named ALEX
5) a shutout

No one said they’d never score…
Japers' Rink: Hockey blogging from the most powerful city in the world
I don’t, I think that Bruce would prefer to have them on two different lines… he goes to Care Bear when they need a jump.
But if it keeps being the case that Kozlov is bumped from the line, there goes any argument that he has value because he makes them so much better.
Kellobellow says it below, but they are productive for a period, then they start to dance, and become too cute… so they need to be busted up.
I don’t think that anyone can argue that Semin/Ovie/Backis are dangerous together, the next most dangerous line has Kozlov on it.
I think everything that needs to be said about Kozlov’s future with the team will be said in the playoffs.
Japers' Rink: Hockey blogging from the most powerful city in the world

by Simply Sensational on Mar 12, 2009 8:56 PM EDT up reply actions
It’s not a matter of the team, it’s a matter of it being a point in the development curve where he’s not going to get much better.
Maybe he just needs more experience? Sort of like how Fehr got his chance and making it worth wild…Except for the fact that Rooster doesn’t exactly look like he belongs up here.
Take this with a grain of sand and all, but Giroux has more goals in his 21 game career than Backstrom/Fehr/Fleischmann/Laich did in their first 21 games, respectively.

Stayed away again out of superstition :)
That may have been the best game I’ve seen the Caps play all season. They fought hard, played good positional D, and earned everything they got.
Definitely Theo’s best game as a Cap. BB is gonna be happy tonight.

Dont hate the city;
Hate the city, their teams, their fans, the folks that live outside of the city and go to the games, the air around the city………

Also, watching the Caps try to hang onto a 1 goal lead against Philly is going to shorten my life significantly.
OK, 30 Rock beckons, peace out yo.
