by David Getz on Mar 12, 2009 8:33 PM EDT up reply actions

I don’t, I think that Bruce would prefer to have them on two different lines… he goes to Care Bear when they need a jump.

by Sct112 on Mar 12, 2009 8:34 PM EDT up reply actions

But if it keeps being the case that Kozlov is bumped from the line, there goes any argument that he has value because he makes them so much better.

by David Getz on Mar 12, 2009 8:36 PM EDT up reply actions

Kellobellow says it below, but they are productive for a period, then they start to dance, and become too cute… so they need to be busted up.

I don’t think that anyone can argue that Semin/Ovie/Backis are dangerous together, the next most dangerous line has Kozlov on it.

by Sct112 on Mar 12, 2009 8:39 PM EDT up reply actions

Given that other guys are producting more then Kozlov without the ice time with the most skilled forwards, I think you can.

Maybe he just needs more experience? Sort of like how Fehr got his chance and making it worth wild…Except for the fact that Rooster doesn’t exactly look like he belongs up here.

Take this with a grain of sand and all, but Giroux has more goals in his 21 game career than Backstrom/Fehr/Fleischmann/Laich did in their first 21 games, respectively.

I hate that 911 call ad because it unnerves me. I love it because it reminds me of the woman who called 911 about her Whopper.

Crapola. Well there’s a scratch card for me, I clicked on Caps will kill off a penalty in the third. Mama wants to meet some more Caps.

Why does this keep happening?

by CapitalCentre on Mar 12, 2009 9:15 PM EDT up reply actions

Because they stop thinking and do something stupid without realizing it.

Backstrom, though? One of the thinky-est guys on the team? (I know it’s not a word, but you know what I mean.)

Stayed away again out of superstition :)

That may have been the best game I’ve seen the Caps play all season. They fought hard, played good positional D, and earned everything they got.

Definitely Theo’s best game as a Cap. BB is gonna be happy tonight.
