Is this pleasant small talk about a Washington landmark or is it trash talk from a Florida nee Hartford fan? I can’t tell, and I’d like to know so we can formulate an appropriate response.

And keep in mind, The USS Hartford was the ship that David Farragut so famously stated “Damn the torpedoes! Four Bells! Captain Drayton: straight ahead!” in Mobile Bay, August, 1864.

I’m thinking they wind up with the #7 spot. I’d rather play whoever winds up at #7 than whoever winds up at #8. Mainly because whoever gets #8 is going to do it by being on a hot streak at the end of the season.
I have as many wins in a Capitals uniform as Michael Belhumeur does.
Yeah, but sometimes when teams need to play mistake-free hockey to get in, they can let up for the first game or two once they get there. Or so I’m told.

Theo’s save there, and his ability to poke the rebound into the corner, was tougher than it looked. Back in October that rebound would have bounced right in front of the goal for an easy tip-in

Weeee. That was a fun game.
Man what a great bunch of fans the last 5 minutes. We were all standing and cheering the entire time!
It was awesome.
The only thing that I hate about my seats is that the section I sit in is one of the last to fill up, and thus tends to have a lot of visiting fans and casual fans who never stand up for anything. Being at the front of the section, I feel bad standing up and cheering for anything because I know I’m in these people’s way. So a lot of times, I want to stand up and scream and get loud but I can’t because I’m at the front of a very lame section and I don’t want to be rude.
