"[H]e's famous for diving and he's never really played with any honor. He's been a coward his whole career and continues to do that. Out there with a visor, chirping like that and he never backs it up, I have no respect for a guy like that."

Refs cost TBL that game. A puck hit a ref, kept the puck in the PIT offensive zone and Mark Eaton scored. Ref could have easily gotten out of the way. Then that JOKE of a call on Roberts led to a PIT PP. They scored.
Tyler— To be fair though Vinny Lecavalier’s shot hit a Penguins stick and wound up square on Marty St. Louis’ stick for Tampa’s 3rd, the bounces evened out. The refs didn’t cost Tampa that game, give a little credit to #71.
Remember…the refs are always pulling for Pittsburgh. If not for Cooke, then for Crosby.
Am I right or am I right?

And to the fact that the Bolts started an ECHL-caliber goalie.
But no doubt it’s shaping up to be a two-man race for the Hart (and before you ask, I think that a guy whose team misses the playoffs should absolutely be considered for the award… but I don’t think that issue is going to have occasion to come up this year).

Now you’re pulling a Matt Cooke and doing a little bit of an exaggeration :) McKenna’s been good in the AHL: 11-10-4, .904 sav%, 2.97 GAA—-compare that to Karri Ramo’s 7-14-4, .884 %, 3.78—and McKenna was solid last night, repelling the Penguins on a lot of good looks (particularly on the powerplay).
He’s obviously not a franchise NHL goalie but he was in the zone You can point to other guys like Pekka Rinne and even Steve Mason as goalies pop up and start out really hot at the NHL level for one reason or another.
And as far as Mr. Roberts goes, he hits a guy from behind at least once a period. He’ll back it up, but come on, pot calling the kettle black.
But he is right, Cooke embellished a punch to the head from Gary and it drew a penalty. It’s not honorable, but it is what it is. Cooke can’t drop if Roberts doesn’t punch him in the head in the first place, right?
Does it hurt to have to say something bad about Roberts, or does it make the breakup a little easier? :)

I think a lot of Pens fans don’t care either way, myself included. He cost Pitt a few games last season with stupid penalties. Despite his cult-like status I never hesitated to dislike the guy.
