Evgeny Grachev
Grachev came in 2nd to fastest skater. My biggest disappointment in last year’s draft is that we did not take Grachev. I was extremely happy with the selections of Carlson, Kugryshev and Holtby…but really wished we took Grachev over Mestery when we had the pick in the 2nd round.
After the fact, the picks of Broda and Della Rovere look pretty good as well.
Grachev is easily my favorite non-Caps prospect.

The plus side? Great news for Caps fans, and for a team that use a guy with a heavy shot from the point.
The down side? Thousands of more instances of hearing about “buzz bombs”.
For that? I'll deal.
I’d say make a drinking game out of Locker’s commentary, but nobody’d remember the third frame XD
