This is the kind of thing I’d expect to see Simon pull. I’ve never liked Witt (yes, even while a Cap), but this is out of character.

That’s just absolutely retarded. Really ridiculous. Where are all you guys asking for Witter to come back to the Caps on this one?

Witt will miss Saturday’s game against Buffalo, March 2 against Colorado, March 5 against the New York Rangers, March 7 against New Jersey and March 8 against Phoenix. He will be eligible to return March 10 at Toronto.

Great, very fitting having his first game back against Toronto. They should beat the living crap out of him that game.
