Former Cap Brendan Witt hit by car; plans to play tonight
"New York Islanders defenceman Brendan Witt was hit by a car in Philadelphia on Tuesday, according to Newsday. But Witt reportedly picked himself up off the road and, after a few profanities, assured everyone he was all right before continuing on his way, prompting one witness to say, "it was like seeing Clint Eastwood, but in hockey." — TSN

Hah, the better part of the quote is this:
“I’m okay,” Witt told the crowd as he dusted himself off, according to Newsday. “I’ve got to go play some hockey. I’m a hockey player. I’m okay. No big deal.”

He got hit by a friggin’ YUKON. Not a car, a truck. holy crap.
I could have been equipment manager, but nooooo!
Just goes to prove that Saskatchewan is tougher the Yukon.
Also, I wonder if he gets signed by Brian Burke in the off season for his truckulence.
