The Hunter continues to tighten up as the season progresses - Deb's Goon Emporium is a scant 3 games back of Natty's Ice in the race for the division title and the spot in the upper-bracket playoffs. The other three teams in the Hunter sit a mere two games apart from each other, between 10 and 12 back of the leader. This should be fun headed down the stretch and good luck to my division mates.
The Two Bit Crew continues leading the Langway, but Gould's Grinders sit within striking distance at 5 games back. Ice Warriors X is hanging on at 12 behind 2BC, but the rest of the division has fallen off fairly dramatically and it would take a miracle for either of those two teams to climb back in it by the end of the regular season.
The Gartner Division has the most exciting 3 way race for the lead, with Don't Toews Me Sombrero holding a 4 game edge on both the Polar Bear Rebellion and the Harrisonburg Dukes. Keep an eye on this one as the stretch run approaches, we could see some high drama.
Not much to report out of the Labre: The Two-Prongered Assault continues to lead the overall points race at .675 available points earned in the head-to-head matchups, while the only team close enough in the standings, My Jokes Getzlafs, to make it interesting has suffered some serious injury problems in the last couple of weeks. Looking grim for the competition in the Labre.
