21 minutes and only two comments. My, how things have changed.
"Camaraderie, that's what the Washington Capitals are all about."
Apparently the Bourque lobby stopped drinking the kool aid and opened their eyes. Better late than never I suppose.
A man gotta have a code
I think if no other team claims him and we claim him, we are allowed to send him straight to hershery
I don’t believe that’s how it works, since we tried that business with Kris Beech a couple seasons ago and we lost him on waivers immediately. He was on three or four teams in two days. It was funny.

why? it’s no different then trying to sending him to hershey the first time until Pitt intervened. If no other team tries to claim him i pretty sure were allowed to reclaim and send him striaght to hershey.
Yes, we can try to send him to Hershey, but we’ll be exposing him to waivers. We’re most likely not the last team that has dibs, so we could lose him again when we try to send him down (though I dunno if that’s likely).

I thought a few days ago someone said that if the Caps are the only team to put in a claim, they can immediately send him to Hershey because they were the team that originally waived him. I believe that person, but don’t know where they got it from.
"The Caps fan doesn't say, 'is the glass half full' or 'is the glass half empty'. He wonders when the glass is going to spill."
That could very well be the case. I haven’t heard that before.

CBA Article 13.22
When a Club claims a Player on Regular, Re-Entry or Unconditional Waivers,
and, subsequently, in the same season it requests Waivers on the same Player and the
original owning Club is the successful and only Club making a Waiver claim, then the
original owning Club shall be entitled to Loan such Player to a club in another league
within thirty days without further Waivers being asked; provided that such Player has not
participated in ten or more NHL Games (cumulative) and remained on an NHL roster
more than thirty days (cumulative) following such successful claim.
Let’s claim him and then trade him and Nyles to ANA for Neidermeyer.
If you don't wanna get hit, KEEP YOUR HEAD UP!
I think we’d have to get Bob Murray drunk and high first before that happens…
There will be a Яeckoning for the wЯecking ball
No, no, no.
Trade Bourque to ANA for Nieds. But why throw in Nyls?
Nyls goes to CHI straight up for Keith.
See, I just fixed all the Caps’ problems.
