I was in Quebec a couple weekends ago. Saw him play back to back games. Outstanding in the first game vs. Rimouski (4 pts. IIRC) and pretty invisible the next day vs. Drummondville. He’s also been playing in the Subway Series for Russia.
He should also be in the WJC coming up.
Only played for Russia when they played the Q. Didn’t play the O or W. Not a huge fan of that.

The Subway Series is such a joke though.

He plays for Patrick Roy. At the very least we know he’ll throw ‘em so if SDR doesn’t pan out maybe we can turn this nice kid into a rough punk.
I hope he’s very limited in what he takes from Semin’s game. There aren’t many that can copy the good stuff Sasha does, and the rest…
