There are a number of regular posters to this blog who snipe at and denigrate OFB every chance they get.

Right. So a blanket statement like “you guys don’t like OFB very much” is pretty inappropriate, IMO, as it implies something about the blog’s writers and/or over-generalizes the readership.

Great article, everyone loves Stretch.

They laughed at Columbus, they laughed at Fulton, they laughed at the Wright brothers. But they also laughed at Bozo the Clown.

How many regular guys, of any profession, dream of being able to practice or play( even for 1 hour) with a professional sports team. Sure, he has a background in the sport, but still.
Yet, he still stays humble about the whole thing.

I still wish he had gotten a few minutes of ice time that night.
O well. Keep living the dream Stretch-o!

Stretch has a better life than 99% of the guys in the AHL.
