Glencross Suspended for 3 Games
Is it just me or did this hit not look any worse than the one that the Ontario Angel laid on Booth? Wheel of Justice strikes again, tough titties Curtis, you aren't famous enough.

Here is a link to the hit for those who haven’t seen it.

No difference? Give me a break, the Ontario Angel was going much faster when he blindsided Booth.

Pretty much this. Glencross laid a pretty tame hit by comparison.

while a headshot and deserves consequences, it pales to the Booth hit

Such Horseshit
Kinda salty about this one because it’s such innocent contact.
I may or may not have Glencross on my fantasy team, too.

I’m sure the league had more views than I did. I’m sure they have their reasons. But the more I watch the linked video, the less I can see it as a head shot, and absolutely unintentional. The puck carrier looked to be passing towards Drury and the pass went just behind across the ice. I would question if it’s even an interference penalty. His elbows didn’t come up….
I see in no way how this hit is in any way worth 3 games. If this is a 3 gamer, Richards’ is Simon-Worthy.

Agreed. And no penalty was called on the play!

Still looking for what caused an injury…was it a twisted knee or ankle?

Judging by how wobbly Drury was I’m thinking concussion.

Definitely looks like Glencross’ shoulder clipped Drury’s head as he skated by.

Yeah and if it was a leg Drury would have limped off. He didn’t look like he was all there. It wasn’t nearly as blatant or solid contact to the dome as another certain blindside hit, but hey it’s the NHL.
