For those of you who don't have CSN+ (MDers)

I just checked my FiOS lineup tonight (Howard/A.A.) and the game will be televised on the NHL Network as part of HNIC. That would be Channel 587 if you're up here in my neck of the woods (HoCo). It will also be on channel 87 if you don't plan on watching in HD for some ungodly reason. Hope this helps, Go Caps!

Does CSN+ come on C-SPAN where your at? That’s what it comes in Fredneck; 97 I think. Same with Nats and O’s games.

I was under the impression that CSN+ was on ch. 1 on FiOs? I have Comcast, but I’ve watched the CSN+ channel on FiOs at a friend’s house. We usually get blacked out of the NHL Network games. (We’re in Baltimore)

Damn, I live in Arlington and get CSNass+ all the time, but I’d gladly be rid of it in order to watch it on 587, which will be blacked out for me.

Anyone else notice that the first CSN+ showing of a caps game this season (i think it was the 5000 round shootout game vs the islanders) had some weird program title instead of the game.. was some lame local home and garden thing I think. I was in a panic after I searched and couldn’t find anything labelled “NHL Hockey”. I was even on the phone with some comcast cust service rep (aka some kid in India) trying to get him to figure out what channel CSN+ was while I flipped through the entire list… it ended up being channel 4. WTF I thought.

I kept it on my DVR. Some friends might look through it and wonder why I recorded a 2.5 program on planting perennials.

BTW the only way I found it was after I noticed, through the maze that is comcast’s web site, that CSN+ was “Channel 8”.. which was WRONG! On Comcast’s OWN site. Good thing I decided to start from channel 1 right after that.

for me, CSN+ and MASN2 are both shown on channel 79, which I think it CSPAN5 or community programming or something the rest of the time
