Have Red, Will Travel: Caps @ Devils 11/14

PrintI know we've got some Rinkers up in the New York City / New Jersey area. I need to get out of Dodge for the weekend, so I'm going to shoot up to Newark, rock Caps red at Prudential Center on Saturday night, and pray I'm not horrible luck for the Caps this season. Are any other Rinkers going to be there, and if so, do you want to meet up somewhere for beverages / chow / chatter. etc., either before or after the game?

I believe the fan club and road crew are heading up for this game as well. I will be there because a friend of mine lives in the area. Possible Rink meet up after first period would be good.
will look into details of places in arena tomorrow. I believe that there is a bar at the front somewhere but dont quote me on it. Where are you sitting? I’ll post my location of our seats tomorrow cause i am not sure where they are. haha.
The two main bars are easy to remember: the Fire Lounge and the Ice Lounge, both on the main lower concourse. And then there is the Bud Light Goal bar behind sections 101-107, which is pretty cool. Like the VC, no bars in the upper concourse.
Let me know how the area around the arena is now. I went to several games there the first year it was open (2 seasons ago), and if you thought the area around Nats stadium was hurtin’…….
Let’s say the Fire Lounge at first intermission. I’m a fairly tall brunette and will be wearing a red Steckel jersey.
