Major dive by Walker there. They really need to change the rules so that a dive cancels the original penalty or make diving a double minor to put the diving team on the PK. This 4 on 4 nonsense isn’t much of a deterrence.

Although I am reminded that this year’s CI commercial is much less painful than last year’s “jackatorium” commercial.

This. Last year’s was much, MUCH more annoying. This year’s makes me smirk, especially about the pizza and missing things.

I tried to watch the Rangers game tonight. I really did. But Al Trautwig’s voice makes me want to defenestrate myself out of a very tall building.
Ha. You should be able to fix that. CI is giving me both home and away feeds for both games on right now. I cannot stand the BOS or NYI broadcast teams so this is really great timing for the double feed.

Yeah I agree but considering how well GMGM botched that draft I don’t feel much pain anymore. Maybe it’s just a healing or defense mechanism but I’ve convinced myself GMGM would have squandered a higher pick just like the 2 he actually had.

So yeah the Caps are terrible at holding leads and quiting when we get ahead. But on the bright side CGY blew a 5-0 first period lead tonight. I’d be shocked if CHI doesn’t ride this momentum to a W.

It really impressed me that they pretty much brought their entire blog roster to FFH and 1) didn’t bring up Hamilton once and 2) were really civil, never saying more than “On themselves” and “Go Sharks.”

Gaborik had a sick goal against LAK tonight, wouldn’t fault Theo for getting beat by that one. NHL on the Fly and NHL.com give a pretty crappy replay to show how amazing it is. ESPN gave a couple different good angles. What is this world coming to?

You see that save Cam Ward had on Bill Guerin? That was some fine glove work there.

That was a Bill Guerin Epic Fail. Sure, Ward did good to get his glove out there but Guerin had no business even letting Ward have a chance at that save. It was like AO blowing that empty net against DET from the slot. Sure, Osgood got his pad out but really that play came down to AO blowing it.
