Nylander led the Grand Rapid Griffins to start a third-period comeback against the Houston Aeros, 3-1.

Friday's game was the final game of Nylander's conditioning stint, finishing with one goal, five power-play assists and a plus-one rating in five games. The Griffins were undefeated in the Nylander era.

Your move, comrades.

Don’t call it a comeback. How do you like me now?

So this is the end of the line, eh? Despite this credible stint, I still find it hard to believe that Nyls is just going to go poof! like Keyser Soze and be gone. It’d make way too much sense and be way too easy.

“Hey, Nyles.. act like you’ve done it before, man..”

Maybe play with an edge, be a little more physical -- maybe be more of a prick out there.

I’ve seen that look before. Wasn’t that Flash last year after a major drought, and a bunch of near misses and nullified goals?

It was Nylander scoring a penalty shot against Luongo.

Maybe play with an edge, be a little more physical -- maybe be more of a prick out there.

Well, okay, but I can still be correct.
