Somebody needs to tell Mike Green that dipping snuff is a bad habit.

Eh, chalk it up to a male bravado thing. A lot of the pilots in my old squadron would dip while they flew, often without a spit bottle.
Other than the obvious cancer and cat shit breath it gives you, I don’t think it would affect their conditioning too much. I wouldn’t be suprised if the coaches dipped either.
I may have been the only guy on my HS lacrosse team that didn’t dip. One of my buddies was so addicted to the stuff that [warning: if you just ate, you may not want to finish this sentence] he got to the point where he didn’t even spit any more – just swallowed the juice.

Be thankful that you never picked up the habit b/c it’s an absolute bitch to quit. As far as 52’s concerned, maybe it’ll prevent him from gaining 29 lbs this season!

I was the only one on my hockey team as well. Nasty, nasty stuff.
