What is everyone paying for NHL Center Ice?
Cost for NHL Center Ice with Time Warner Cable in Central NY is $163.80 until October 31. What is everyone else paying?

I’ve heard tales of folks with DirecTV getting it for free after threatening to switch due to the VS mess…but I have Cox here in NoVA, and prefer to subscribe to the online game-center.

DIrecTV
Is it possible to just buy the CSN-DC channel? Wouldn’t that get me the Caps games or is there some blackout restriction?

You won’t get caps games (or any pro sports) if you’re out of market…you need to order center ice.

For the folks on Comcast
what percentage of games are in HD?
never let the truth get in the way of a good story
Last year was the first time they started multiple resolution feeds for some of the games. In schedule list it indicates HD or not, and sometimes they even broadcast HOME and AWAY feeds, which is nice if you’d rather not listen to the other team’s broadcast homers. Sometime you don’t have a choice. More often than not, when the Caps go out west, NHLCI give you the FoxSportsNetwork feed of the home team.
I’ve been a CI subscriber since it came along. It’s the only way I can see all the Caps games since I live in Central NY. The Sabres games are all blacked out on CI but that’s because they’re on MSG locally.
Me, I prefer to watch Canadian broadcasts if at all possible, even when Comcast’s feed is available. I also find it utterly fascinating to watch Canadiens games in French.
But Brawndo's got what plants crave. It's got electrolytes.
I’m thinking about getting Centerice, but I want to watch streaming on my computer. Trying to decide if it’s worth it. I actually just enjoy watching hockey, and it could help me get back into writing. Also, I have a small heart for St. Louis and Nashville as well as most of the Canadian teams.
Are the costs for computer viewing the same as television?
I'm so sick and tired of the refs explaining the calls like this is the NFL.
I think its quite a bit cheaper than Center Ice. we had the computer stream last year (bought the baseball and NHL combo package). Given that we only used it to watch Wings games, I think it was over priced, because the Wings and Cap conflicted on a lot of nights. But the quality was excellent on most nights, with none to very minimal buffering, skipping, or other interruptions.
Ugh. The first big day of hockey and my Center Ice channels are blacked out for some reason. Yey Comcast.

strange. it was working fine for me Thursday and Friday. (fyi, the Detroit game is on NHLN, not Center Ice. took us about 5 minutes of screaming and yelling and swearing to figure it out)
I’m watching DET, and watched PHI/CAR on CI last night. I don’t get it.
Dear Comcast,
