Another guy who was money in NHL 94…I miss the Whalers.

Who else was on Cassels like when he was here? I remember Peter Sykora being on his line, but I’m blanking on the third person. It was someone else that didn’t do much (of course, very few Caps on 05-06 “did much.”)
Rico Fata?
Craig Johnson?
Jeff Freisen?
I have as many wins in a Capitals uniform as Michael Belhumeur does.
If you’re bored bold enough, go through some of these old posts from back then and report back with your findings. :)

It must have been Freisen.
And holy crap, man. I stumbled across some names there I had totally forgotten about… and thought these guys were Caps? John Gruden! Todd Rohloff! Dwayne Zinger! Garrett Stroshein!
Talk about putting things into perspective. I don’t think I’ve had quite as much appreciation for how much things have turned around for this team as I did the past 30 minutes while poking around old posts out of curiosity.

A good player, but had to retire due to a messy custody fight with his ex-wife, who tried to take away any visitation/custody of his kids due to the fact he was a hockey player and was out on the road several dozen nights a year. To make sure he could still see his kids, he asked GMGM to waive him and asked that he indicate the reason. I guess he didn’t want to really retire, but effectively it was retirement…
bitches ain’t nothin but tricks and hoes…..well that ain’t all true but watch out for those gold diggers.

He was sick
with Geoff Sanderson. Quite the duo.

Sanderson used to eat the Caps for lunch just about every time he played the Caps here in the DC area…. He was a good player, but when he saw the Caps he became Wayne Gretzky… or Jon Sim…or Miro Satan…
