Around SBN: Jeremy Lin Continues Rampage, New York Wins On Road

"The record at home is 17-1-1, and there certainly won't be a ticket to spare Tuesday night against the Philadelphia Flyers, a rivalry so intense that an upset fan left two unbroken eggs on a wall outside Ovechkin's house after a 7-1 loss in Philly on Dec. 20. The message attached to the eggs, according to Ovechkin: "Don't do it anymore."

Strangest threat ever?

I saw that. I’m not sure what the hell that even means.

I think it refers to the no goals, no assists.

But who the hell does that? Can’t they just leave angry comments on blogs like “normal” people?

Umm, WTFO? Somehow I don’t think removing Ovie is going to make our team any better, duck/goose/chicken eggs or not.

OT Hockey 2/8
Evgeny Kuznetsov hams it up as he joins the Russia men's national team for the "Sweden Games" leg of the Euro Hockey Tour in Helsinki, Finland.

There's a bit of controversy as their game against the Finns is scheduled to be played in Helsinki's outdoor Olympic Stadium. Where the daytime temps are currently approximately minus-15 degrees Celsius, with periodic heavy snow.

This interview with head coach Zinetula Bilyaletdinov is fascinating, as he frets about the weather and especially when the reporters press him on the leaked reports that Kuznetsov will be centering the top line for Team Russia, just weeks after his 20th birthday.
