Guess the winners?
I got:
Fastest Skater – Cogliano, followed closely by Bouwmeester
Breakaway Challenge – Patrick Kane (sorry, Alex)
Accuracy – Tomas Kaberle
Hardest Shot – got to go with Chara; might as well pick for second. I’m torn between Weber and Streit, but I have to go with my gut – Streit
Parise, Ovechkin, Heatley, Souray

Eh, it’s not so bad, all the leagues do it. The Jonas Brothers played at an NFL game recently and when I went to the MLB ASG in Chicago The Ataris played.
Ovy used props for his breakaway challenge final attempt haha

St Louis had the coolest move but a Bucket Hat and two sticks = awesome

Yeah, they’re definitely cool—otherwise Geno doesn’t dream of playing prop man for Ovechkin. Kudos to AO for asking Malkin (and not Kovalchuk or Kovalev) to assist him. In hindsight though, that was the only guy he could turn to for max. effect.
Of course, come Feb 22nd all bets are probably off…But all the hyped up North American “feud” was probably over-blown by the media.
Either way it’s still good to see what happened tonight happen, especially if you’d like to see Russia do well in 2010.
Apparently it was supposed to be Kovy, but they collectively thought Malkin would be a better choice, and decidedly so.
