Main, fuck Chowda. I hate Boston accents with a fiery passion, and I’m allergic to shellfish. I remember a time when I went to a Caps-Bruins game at the phone booth, and we lost, cause it was 2004 or something, and the Bruins fans were carrying on like they had just won the Stanley Cup.
God, I hope we rip the shit out of them, if not only for the needed two points, but to stick it to every New Englander who wasn’t a Whalers fan. Also, because I hate the accent.
Why no love for the chowdah? It’s way better than crabcakes.

If the Caps win tonight will you raise a banner in at the Verizon Center to commenerate it and put it up next to your WNBA attendance banners?

I just hope the Mystics fold so we can take those things down and give them to a 3rd world country to use as a blanket.

wtf does the fact that some other league uses the building have to do with this game? go jerk it to bobby orr circa 1970.
Also, anyone else think Alzner/Helmer to be a bit of a curious pairing?
I have as many wins in a Capitals uniform as Michael Belhumeur does.

Shame Bruce and Julien won’t be the ASG coaches together, they would be team bald.

Maybe they could get Kyle from Tenadious D to fill in for him?

You know, we’ve had some good chances of deflections, and thats how you gotta beat a guy like Thomas

I have been a hater of Erskine, but JP has convinced me, he’s playing well.
by CapitalsKremlin on Jan 17, 2009 7:24 PM EST up reply actions
I’ve always liked Erskine. People saying he drew Jurcina’s play down always frustrated me, as I always saw it differently. Though, Jurcina and Erskine both have their flaws.
What I see in Erskine isn’t in Juice. Erskine’s play doesn’t seem to change, regardless of who he plays with. Jurcina is someone who seems to rely on his partner.
I apologize for the Geico ads, they come from Richmond Va. I anyone wants to help me burn down the Martin Agency (company responsible) I will provide a safe house and fake id…

I hope Lucic and Backstrom are on the same team in that game. Don’t need anymore headsmacks from Milan.
They will be, it’s Sophmores vs Rookies

Chara may be one of the best and smartest of defensemen in the NHL, but he is also about the ugliest.
I wonder if we will get to see a “Nylander Hat Trick”

Three circles in the offensive zone on one puck possession.

SPG
ChrisFoulk is your winner w/ 4 points tonight.
Pick SPG for your chance to win probably nothing.
For all the anti-JE4 talk here on this web page thingy, y’all gotta think this guy is an awesome presence that the Caps have missed.
I would love to know what AO and Marc Savard said to each other with 8 minutes to go in the first period. They came together behind the net and had a minor collision. After the whistle, Savard met AO behind the net and I thought they were gonna swap spit.
Passing tonight, while there were a lot of giveaways, was excellent. The Caps moved the puck really really well.
Is anyone else out the waiting for a cheap penalty to be called for AO’s stick. That curve has GOT to be more than 3/4 inches.
Savard = turd
It is impossible to overstate the uber-doucheness of Marc Savard. Based on how I saw him glaring and chirping at his own teammates last night, I don’t know how they stand him, let alone the opposition.
