Bell’s Amber Ale. It’s very average. I’ll be moving on to the Bowmore 15 ASAP.

Toronto announcers: “Overchkin is probably the best one on one player in the league. Crosby is terrific and so are others, but Ovechkin is the player that makes fans sit on the edge of their seat because you expect something special to happen.”

Nice to hear that. Don’t disagree with that one iota.

Now will they admit that 87 is the league’s whiniest diver….

by TylerG on Dec 6, 2008 7:12 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

eh

i love Ovi and how he plays but i have to disagree on this one. there are definitely better one on one guys in the league. Ilya Kovalchuk, for example.

I’ve got to agree. He’s become predictable one-on-one. Still elite, but there are other guys I’d be more scared of (maybe including Alex Semin).

One bright note of this busy ass site (I’d prefer the old one, in all honesty, JP, too much stuff going on here), having the more “Community” feel and more posts is good for when I have to miss games. Was good to read this wrap-up, although, damn, is there a way to cut back on how busy the site looks?
