THIS ought to be the retired sweater number

This man gave us everything he had, day in day out. (That pimple of a Leafs stint on his resume notwithstanding.) Talk about a guy you could count on, Calle-Jo was IT.

I’ll second that.

I’ll third it. So moved.

I have as many wins in a Capitals uniform as Michael Belhumeur does.

fourth’d.

We’re going to have a decent number of retired jerseys when that generation is done with. Gotta figure Kolzig and Bondra are locks, hopefully Calle will be honored as well. Still can’t get over what happened with him and our idiot pretty boy coach of the day.

So glad

to see the love for my all-time favorite Cap! Glad to see Joos’ comment as well — always resented Cassidy’s shabby treatment of Calle at the end there.

I hated those black alternates that became our home jersey.

Those blue jerseys were sweet.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words—"mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.
