The BJs just lost #1 Center Derrick Brassard for the year.

Already thin at center, they might be a possible destination for Michael Nylander. True, there's that whole pesky no-movement clause, and the rash of injuries mean that the trade might not happen for a while. Still, this is slightly more likely than the Blackhawks, since it won't require multiple trade contortions to get both sides under the salary cap.
The Avalanche could be another possible destination. After losing Sakic for much of the year, and with Tyler Arnason (!!!!) as the next center on the depth chart, the Avs will be looking for help down the middle. Also, Nylander's age won't be a hindrance, because they're (poorly) built to win in the next couple years. They have a little cap room to play with, but some salary would have to come back the Caps' way.
Any other ideas on Nylander or other trades?
