With the knowledge that probably not one single Caps fan is excited to see him back, and with the knowledge the Varlamov played lights out for two games, maybe Joe-say will actually play with a purpose.
And, to that end, Tarik has this quote from Gabby:
“Theo will get his chance,” Boudreau said. “I think he sees, ‘Holy smokes, the other goalies are playing well.’”

Please stop the criticism of our team’s #1 paid goalie. He’s it until he’s traded or his contract comes to an end. The problem this year is that the Caps and other teams play their “backup” goalies too many teams. There was a time when you never saw the backup unless there was a blowout or an injury. Now coaches jerk goalies around all the time. If JT60 were allowed to play most of the games this year we’d have a better idea of what we have this year. Too bad BJ is playing better. The big money is going to the wrong person, IMO.
