Cavallini
ahem…….20 hours and counting on this post without a comment.
Oh Paul Cavallini, how we hardly knew ye.
JP, you may need to rebound strong with somebody of more import tomorrow — Martin Gendron or Nolan Baumgartner spring to mind……
Paul Cavallini, one half of the famous “Flying Cavallini Brothers.” He was a solid player for the Blues. He suffered one of the weirdest hockey injuries ever. The Blues were playing the Hawks and Doug Wilson (no helmet, curly hair) let loose a big slapshot from the point. It hit Paulie in the hand severing the tip of a finger inside his glove. There was no blood because of the glove. Looked like it hurt like hell.
