Re
Enrico (no fault of his own) was essentially the final stopping point in one of the worst series of trades in Caps history, in my opinion. He essentially became all the Caps had to show for their trade of Mike Gartner. (Gartner for Ciccarelli, Ciccarelli for Kevin Miller, Kevin Miller for Paul Cavallini, Cavallini for Ciccone). Buh. Was it David Poile’s incomepetence? Or Abe Pollin strong arming him into getting rid of Ciccarelli I’ll never know, but I was heart broken beginning the ‘92-’93 campaign.

Fantastic work listing the chain of downgrades (though I don’t believe that first one, even with Murph and Rouse thrown in, was a downgrade). Rec’d.
