Center Ice goofs again
I don't understand why I pay $Umpteen and Center Ice can't show all possible games. Take tonight, for example, when ANA plays CAR, an interesting inter-conference matchup featuring a bunch of goons and a team that hits nothing.
According to Center Ice Extra (the 'second' NHL CI channel), Anaheim-Carolina is on NHL Network. According to NHL Network... the Lightning Championship Video (potential audience of... six) is on. Thanks for that Center Ice. One good game all day today and you find a way not to show it.

Yeah, what the deuce is up with that?
Btw, nice use of a FanPost. Once these catch on, the site will be kicking that much more ass.

Trying to talk to anyone at Center Ice is hopeless
I feel your pain. I have been trying to get the rebate form for Center Ice subscribers that also signed up for the online Gamecenter, and the customer service between both is downright insulting. The Center Ice people simply pass the buck to the Gamecenter people, who pass it right back. Meanwhile, I was induced to sign up for the online package due to the rebate and now they claim I imagined it. Ugh.
BTW, if anyone knows anything about said rebate, please let me know.
Do you live in either the Anaheim of Carolina/Raleigh area? Because if it’s that then maybe it was on a local channel. If not, then I don’t know…
Wasn't on in L.A.
Often their games are on what I guess is an UHF channel (remember those), but this one wasn’t on anywhere.

Versus
A friend told me that its because of Versus. Their contract stipulates that they can blackout games (possibly only on Tuesdays) that they have rights to air. They had the right to air this game, thus no one gets it. Even Center Ice.
It amazes me CI would’ve agreed to that, but…
Thanks for the explanation
However dumb the policy is, I guess that’s the reason. Leave it to VS to penalize NHL fans – they do it so regularly anyway. Though from the sound of it, maybe they did all of us non-ticketholders a favor.
