Alright, I’m about to give up on the giveaway and takeaway stats – the Caps have 2 giveaways and 1 takeaway through two. More to the point, Alzner has 0 giveaways, despite his obvious horrible attempted cross-ice pass on a first period 4-on-4 that led to a CBJ break.

Not necessarily – if Johnny saved it, it could have been just a minor for hooking if the refs had ruled that Nash wasn’t denied a reasonable scoring opportunity.

The whole league is tired.
The whole league with the exception of the west coast clubs, is exhausted. Those teams have all gone through their five day off period..
almost all the home teams are winning tonight.
Caps need some time off.
I wonder how many more days (weeks?) all these guys who might be able to play last weekend will be out.
