Vogs has done a heckuva job pulling together "what various scouting reports, scouting services and media reports are saying about the eight players chosen by the Washington Capitals in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft," but if that's not enough for you, there's a bit more 411 out there, including:- The Hockey News' capsules of the Caps draft picks, including scouting reports for most and "impact" for the first rounders.
- Red Line Report has a snippet that adds to what Vogs pulled to note that Braden Holtby's "athleticism masks some serious technique flaws and he doesn't handle the puck well at all," (unfortunate, as he said yesterday that he "like[s] to play the puck a lot to help out [his] D-men") and that he is "[v]ery streaky and emotional — not necessarily a good thing in a netminder."
